Jack has a particular interest in and significant experience of financial remedy proceedings, this having been the focus of his pupillage under Nick Miller. Jack is regularly instructed to attend first appointments, financial dispute resolution appointments, and final hearings. He also has recent experience of conducting appeals.

Jack’s cases frequently involve complex business assets, trusts, inherited wealth, pensions, and foreign assets.

He also advises on and represents clients at interlocutory hearings such as: Section 37 applications and maintenance pending suit/legal services payment order applications.

Jack welcomes the opportunity to advise in conference during the early stages of proceedings.

Whilst less common, Jack also has experience of contested divorce proceedings heard in Open Court.

    Jack is originally from Devon and moved to London to undertake his legal education and training. After reading law at Queen Mary, University of London Jack joined the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and undertook the BPTC at The City Law School. Jack returned to the West Country to undertake his pupillage at St John’s Chambers in October 2013 under the supervision of Nick Miller, Dianne Martin, and Zoe Saunders. Upon successful completion of his pupillage Jack accepted an offer of Tenancy in October 2014.
