Solicitors

St John’s chambers welcomes applications from solicitors who are seeking a career at the Bar. A number of our current tenants qualified as solicitors before transferring to a career at the Bar.

Bar Council regulations exempt qualified solicitors from applying through the normal pupillage route. Solicitors wishing to transfer to the Bar need to obtain relevant information and guidance from the Bar Standards Board and the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority:
